Anthony Travalgia: Tuukka Rask was there when the Bruins needed him the most Tuukka Rask was outstanding in Thursday's Game 3 OT victory.

I'm happy with the OT win.

But man, there was some sloppy play in our own end. Lost count of the number of times Bruins had a chance to clear the zone and just failed.

And something seems off with Pasta. Does not have the same jump he had in game 1.

I agree with you on Pasta. Do you think the Islanders are doing a better job of watching him after game 1. And Rask has been great love seeing that. Feel bad for Carlo. Who’s up next Tinordi?

The Islanders look to pass all the time. Teams know what they do and cover the pass. On a two on one the puck carrier has a clear path to the net and passes it to a player that is covered. Only cup Trotz has is with Washington and they had an all star lineup in place.

Nice. Defending a player for walking away from the team during the most Important time of the year.

Great team win.
Both goalies played outstanding.
Injuries are piling up and “next man up” is easier said than done.
That POS Wilson hit on Carlo is bringing back past nightmares of Savard.

Has anyone else noticed that over the last couple months Debrusk seems to be holding his stick weird? His hands are always in very weird positions and it drives me nuts. He chokes way up on his stick and i don't get it.

Wonder if any of you have noticed?

WHEN Boston beats the Islanders, who do I root for? The lightning or my Bruins. Lightning have Maroon(a st louisan to try a 3 peat) or the team that has Bobby Orr with an infamous puck scoring a goal against my beloved Blues to win the Cup?

Hmmmmm

its all about efficiency, think of a world with only 25 letters in the alphabet. actually, it a lot of cases, c and k are interchangeable, so we're down to 24.

That's not actually true...you know about the law of conservation of "r's"...for the ones we don't use that are actually in the words, we add them elsewhere (Honder (Honda), sofer (sofa), etc.).

I noticed this, too. There was a play late in Game 2 where I swear he had both hands on the blade as he skated by an Islander. He almost hit the guy in the face. He chokes up a ton when he's forced to take a faceoff, but during play makes no sense.

But along those lines, why do I have to waste all that time writing Worcester (9 letters) when we all know it's Woosta (6 letters)?
